Ardent Blockchain Education (ABE) - November 2025 Update

November Highlights at a Glance

  • Financial Literacy Lesson Creation Continues
  • Potential Collaboration with “realXeducation”

November was a slightly slower month due to work-related travel and some meetings being postponed until next month, but we did our best to keep the momentum going with outreach to education committee legislators now that the 2026 session is in full swing. Hopefully, some of those requested meetings will materialize in the coming weeks so that we can carry the ABE mission into new school districts as we close out 2025.

Financial Literacy Lesson Creation Continues

Despite the slightly slower month, our team continues to work on creating content that fulfills the requirements established by SB 1054, aka The Dorothy L. Hukill Financial Literacy Act. Last month saw the completion of our first full lesson covering the different types of financial institutions and fintech applications that exist in today’s world, as we believed this would be the most essential foundation for the following lessons.

With each lesson, however, we are creating a comprehensive teacher’s guide so that regardless of each educator’s familiarity with these concepts, he or she can easily facilitate these lessons for students. By having both a teacher’s guide and slide deck, educators can feel confident in their ability to deliver a high-quality lesson that aligns with Florida Academic Standards without having to create materials from scratch, which itself can be a time-consuming endeavor.

Our goal here at ABE will be to have a teacher’s guide and slide deck for every concept that is listed in SB 1054. With materials that align to both the standards and the law, school districts across the Sunshine State will not need to spend precious dollars on additional resources; instead, they can simply download them from a future repository and disseminate them freely to their students, thereby ensuring each of the lessons meets the financial literacy graduation requirement.

Potential Collaboration with “realXeducation”

Though there was more travel than usual this past month, I had the good fortune to have a friend reach out to have me review his new project. Knowing that I was a high school teacher in the past, he wanted me to assess the viability of his new platform, “realXeducation.”

After listening to his ideas and reviewing the deck, I eagerly told him about ABE and what our philanthropic initiative is trying to accomplish here in Florida. Because we hadn’t spoken in about a year, he did not realize I was engaged in similar work, but was thrilled to know we were already working on something similar. I immediately sensed the opportunity for collaboration due to him and his team building the platform yet haven’t even thought about content creation up to this point.

While his platform will target a similar age range in the UK, the lessons will be facilitated by university students who are seeking part-time employment rather than full-time teachers. The courses will cover a wide array of topics, but where ABE could fill the gap is by offering realXeducation students courses on blockchain technology and financial literacy. He agreed that any help in providing lessons would be welcome, as his original plan involved reaching out to various businesses that might specialize in a particular niche and having them create the content.

Looking ahead to our final month of 2025, we should close out the year strong. From our postponed meeting with the OptimaEd faculty, to our CEO Ray Alvarez and I attending the BA Summit in Washington D.C., December should be another productive month full of progress here at the Ardent Blockchain Education Initiative.

As always, stay tuned for our next update, where we will have more great news to share, including how OptimaEd educators received the ABE intro!
